Made of Poster KraftThe motive are from the moderna TV adaptation of Margaret Atwoods novel The handmaids tale. In my art I merge motifs from popular culture with text from classical literature. The motifs are rendered in black and white, which gives them a deeper, more aged feel. Meanwhile, the classical text takes on a modern tone through the neon color and the way it is presented.
